Miss Trinh is the only child of her parents.

Her father is a PhD in electronics.

Her mother also works in electronics and teaches at an university.

 

Her family was well-to-do and wealthy.

 

She studied at Polytechnic University, Faculty of Information Technology.

 

At that time, the entrance exam score of this department was very high.

 

She graduated with honors.

 

After leaving the university, she became a lecturer at a technical college.

 

She just got a job when she received a scholarship to train a master in Information Technology from South Korea.

 

And she went to South  Korea to study and get a master's degree in two years.

 

Returning to her home country, she participated in several projects with several software companies.

 

She has a good looking face, a tall and thin figure and she often wears trendy clothes.

 

She is usually friendly and easy to talk to.

 

However, she has experienced the three  loves, all of which did not have a happy ending, and broke up in pain.

 

Miss Trinh's fourth aunt had time to do business and work in Cambodia, heard people say that there was a fortune-teller in Phnom Penh who predicted fate very well.

 

That fortune-teller often looked at the palms of the clients.

When Miss Trinh had just graduated from university, while not having a job, the fourth aunt and Miss Trinh went to Cambodia to visit.

 

This aunt took Trinh to see that fortune -teller.

 

She looked at Miss Trinh's palm and said:

 

"This girl's fate has no red string, no marriage.

If she loves anyone, she'll be miserable."

 

Aunt and Miss Trinh also just heard that, but they did not care, they did not believe in the assertion of the fortune- teller.

Both of these people still think that Miss Trinh is rich, beautiful, highly educated…  so don't worry that she won't get a husband.

 

But then, she went through all three loves that ended in pain, broke up with unreasonable reasons.

 

Miss Trinh also took a long time to regain balance.

To this fourth love, Miss Trinh loves Mr. Bang.

 

He seemed like a match for her.

 

Mr. Bang is tall, white, gentle, thoughtful.

He is a resourceful businessman, he has bought his own house in the big city.

 

This couple has been dating for two years, then Mr. Bang asked his parents to meet Miss Trinh's parents to discuss their wedding.

 

The next 6 months is a good day to hold this couple's wedding.

This time, Miss Trinh lives in great happiness.

 

Every day, after work, she goes shopping, prepares some things for her wedding, so that the only happy and important day in her life is taken care of.

 

 

However, with less than 2 months left until their wedding, but Mr. Bang committed suicide and they couldn't save him.

Rumor has it that he has a lot of debt.

Miss Trinh broke down, she  just wanted to die.

 

She didn't want to eat or drink, didn't want to go out, even if she had to stop teaching.

She is like a soulless person.

 

Then her mother was so heartbroken that she went to see an elderly, blind fortune-teller in Binh Tan district.

 

He calculated the horoscope according to the date of birth of Miss Trinh, then he said:

 

"Miss Trinh’s fate doesn't have any marriage so she can't marry anyone who loves her."

 

Mrs. Xuy is a Chinese, she is a horoscope master in district 5 and also said that Miss Trinh's fate is not to get married, it seems that she is not indebted to anyone in marriage.

 

Miss Trinh's mother punched herself in her chest and wondered what karma she had caused in the past to make her daughter's marriage must suffer.

 

Since then, Miss Trinh's mother has been more diligent in going to the Buddhist temple to pray and repent to Buddha.

 

Then by chance, she met Mrs. Thu, nearly 80 years old, her hair is as white as the white Nylon Fishing Line, her face is very kind.

 

Mrs. Thu showed Miss Trinh's mother a very effective way to correct the past karma, which is to recite Avatamsaka sutra, regularly in everyone's life, that can clear the old karma.

 

Miss Trinh's mother thanked Mrs. Thu.

And she went to her house, advised Miss Trinh to go to the temple to repent, bow to Buddha and recite the Avatamsaka Sutra.

 

Miss Trinh, after teaching at the college, often brings the book of the Avatamsaka sutra to the Buddhist temple.

 

After bowing to the Buddha and repenting, she opened the Avatamsaka Sutra and read it by herself in front of the main hall - Buddha's hall.

 

Every evening, she plays videos of the Avatamsaka sutra lectures of Venerable Master HSUAN HUA to learn more the meaning of this sutra.

 

Miss Trinh's mother is sincere.

 

She asked her two nieces besides the time they went to high school, when they had free time, they should take the Avatamsaka Sutra to read and dedicate these merits to Miss Trinh, let Miss Trinh soon eliminate her past karma.

 

She gave them money to encourage those two children, to give them the motivation to read the Mahayana sutra, because at that age, they were very playful.

 

 

They are often lazy to read Buddha’s dharma.

 

 

It is very convenient and meaningful for her to do so, this can both dedicate merits to Miss Trinh and also give the two nieces a chance to familiarize themselves with the precious Mahayana sutra.

 

 

And she sat down to copy a few chapters of the Avatamsaka Sutra that she was interested in.

 

When her husband retired, she also encouraged him to read the Avatamsaka Sutra and copy the Avatamsaka Sutra.

 

Because according to her, the Avatamsaka sutra is a wonderful piece of literature that everyone should read and think of it.

 

Master Hsuan Hua also said:” Unless you read the Avatamsaka Sutra, you will not know of the Buddha's true blessings and honor. The Avatamsaka Sutra is the Buddha's greatest store of treasures. In forty chapters the sutra conveys a vast range of Buddhist teachings.”

By chance, Miss Trinh met Mr. Trien, he's 3 years older than her.

 

On one occasion both of them went to Vạn Thành pagoda.

 

Both of them sat waiting to meet the abbot of the temple to donate to this temple.

 

While waiting for the monk to return to this temple because he attended to chant in a funeral, Mr. Trien and Miss Trinh talked to each other and found it to be a good match.

Mr.Trien used to run a restaurant and bar business.

 

He indulged in debauchery, enjoyment, drinking, pleasure... but then, his business went bankrupt.

 

Mr. Trien lost money, lost friends because they betrayed him.

 

Losing faith in human love, bored with life, Mr. Trien turned to Buddhism as a place to take refuge and learn.

 

A few years later, Mr. Trien and Miss Trinh just got married.

At this time, both of them were old, so they did not hold a grand wedding.

Both of them just went to the Buddhist temple and begged the abbot to organize the Temple wedding ceremony in the presence of a few close relatives.

 

Mr. Trien also doesn't want to kill other lives such as shrimp, crabs, chickens, cows, eels, pigs, fish …on their happy day, so they only have a vegetarian party, never hold a meat party.

They invited guests with about 8 vegetarian wedding tables at a vegetarian restaurant.

 

Because her family is also rich, Mrs. Trinh has donated about 50 sets of the Avatamsaka Sutra, she sponsored the engraving on stone about the contents of some chapters in the Avatamsaka Sutra for a pagoda.

 

 

She hired skillful craftsmen to carve the Vairocana Buddha statue made of stone in Non Nuoc, which is a type of good stone in a locality in central Vietnam.

 

That stone statue is white to worship at her house.

 

Every day, she buys incense, flowers, candles, fruits, etc… to make offerings and prostrate to Vairocana Buddha.

 

 

Until now, every day when she comes home after working, even she is very tired and busy, but Mrs. Trinh still takes the Avatamsaka Sutra to read and recite a few pages with her husband.

 

They have great faith in the Buddha's teachings, especially in the Mahayana sutras.

 

Thus, even if the horoscope has no marriage, but by reading and reciting the sacred Avatamsaka Sutra, one can finally change one's fate.

 

Mrs.Trinh intends to tell her colleagues and friends so that they can have faith in the Three Jewels, know how to repent and live more honestly.

My close friend, Mrs. M, has been suffering from severe depression since 2012.

Due to the many pressures of work at the company, the pressure of her husband's family and her husband, plus a trauma she suffered at the young age that made her depressed even more, She even had schizophrenia, a doctor at a major hospital diagnosed her with bipolar disorder.

She went to many psychiatrists for many years but still did not heal, plus an incident from her husband's family made her illness worse.

Then by chance she was taught by an acquaintance, who often studies Buddhism, an effective way to cure mental illness, which is to read and recite the greatest Mahayana sutra of Buddhism, the largest Buddhist sutra is the Avatamsaka Sutra.

That friend said that when reading, reciting the Avatamsaka Sutra, it would help all sentient beings cleanse their past karmas quickly and effectively.

People often say: "The Avatamsaka sutra is the most sublime revelation of the Buddha's teachings".

When one gets sick, one has to find all the doctors.

She also tried to read, recite the Avatamsaka sutra to see if she was cured.

Because every month, the money spent on treating her mental illness and depression in the neurologist's offices is a lot of money.

When people first look at this sutra, they are also worried because of the thickness of the books.

Every day, she also reads out, recites the Avatamsaka sutra, because Mrs. M has quit her job, she only stays at home to treat her mental illness, so she is also free.

She recited this sutra all day, she read it aloud as her friend instructed.

After about 6 weeks, she also finished reading the 40-chapter Avatamsaka Sutra in which chapter 40 is the last chapter, it's called " PRACTICES AND VOWS OF SAMANTABHADRA BODHISATTVA", she has now memorized it.

And then a miracle happened, that her depression was healed.

She can go out, travel, but before when she was depressed Mrs. M couldn't go anywhere, she didn't want to eat, drink, go out.

At the end of March 2022, she went to see the neurologists, they were also surprised if there was any miracle that she healed her neurological diseases so quickly and surprisingly, such a surprise.

Mrs. M is excited to show off everywhere to her friends.

Let's say goodbye to bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and depression from now on.

To thank Buddha for giving her a miraculous cure for her mental illness, Mrs. M asked someone to carve a wooden statue, a Vairocana Buddha statue to worship at her house.

She also donated 10 sets of the Avatamsaka sutras to a pagoda to give to Buddhists in need of this sutra.

The lectures of famous monks on the sacred Avatamsaka sutra, she also reads.

The more she reads and learns about the Avatamsaka Sutra, the more interesting it becomes.

And she admires this magical, holy Mahayana sutra.

Since then, Mrs. M and her friends have invited one another to join the AVATAMSAKA WAY-PLACE, Avatamsaka repentance like chapter 40 in the Avatamsaka Sutra,
and they recite the name of the sutra. It is: “NAMO THE OCEAN-WIDE AVATAMSAKA ASSEMBLY OF BUDDHAS & BODHISATTVAS” so much so that she memorized it

and reciting the name of Vairocana buddha repeatedly, as well as every day she made 108 prostrations to Vairocana buddha.

A lecture by the Venerable Master Hsuan Hua in 1979:

“The Avatamsaka Sutra is the Sutra of the Dharma Realm and the Sutra of Empty Space.

To the exhaustion of the Dharma Realm and empty space there is no place where the Flower Adornment Sutra is not present.

Wherever the Avatamsaka Sutra is found, the Buddha is to be found, and also the Dharma and the Sangha of Worthy Sages.

That is why when the Buddha accomplished Proper Enlightenment, he wished to speak the Great Avatamsaka Sutra to teach and transform the Great Knights of the Dharma Body.

Since this Sutra was a Sutra of inconceivable wonder, it was then concealed within the Dragons' Palace for the Dragon King to protect.

Afterwards, Nagarjuna—"Dragon Tree" Bodhisattva went to the Dragons' Palace, memorized it, and brought it back.

The Avatamsaka Sutra is like an auspicious cloud in empty space, which extends throughout the Three Thousand Great Thousand World-System, raining down the sweet dew of Dharma rain to moisten all living beings.

The Avatamsaka Sutra is also like the sun, which everywhere illumines the Great Thousand World-Realm, bringing warmth to every single living being.

The Avatamsaka Sutra is also like the great earth, which can produce and grow the myriad existing things.

Therefore, it can be said that any period in which the Avatamsaka Sutra exists is a period in which the Proper Dharma long remains.

Consequently, in our daily investigation and lecturing of the Avatamsaka Sutra, it is essential to rely upon the Sutra's principles to cultivate and to use the Sutra as a cure for our own personal faults.

Those who are greedy, after hearing the Avatamsaka Sutra, should rid themselves of greed.

People who have hatred, upon hearing the Sutra, should give up their hatred;

and those who are stupid should stop being stupid.

The principles discussed in the Sutra are designed to correct our faults and bad habits.”

And MASTER HSUAN HUA also said:

"From the beginning to the end of the Avatamsaka Sutra, every phrase of the Sutra is an unsurpassed Dharma jewel.

If we are able actually to apply and cultivate according to the principles in the Sutra, then we are certain to become Buddhas.

For that reason the Avatamsaka Sutra can be called the Mother of all Buddhas.

The Avatamsaka Sutra is the Dharma Body of all Buddhas.

The Buddha praised the Vajra Sutra saying:

In any place where the Sutra text is found, there is the Buddha.

Wherever the Avatamsaka Sutra is, there is the Buddha.

The Buddha is right there. It is just that your karmic obstacles are too deep and heavy, so although you are face-to-face with him, you do not see the Buddha.

As it is said,

Face-to-face, not recognizing Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva.”

Chị Trinh là con một. Ba mẹ  của chị chỉ có một mình chị.

 

Ba của chị là tiến sĩ về điện tử. Mẹ chị cũng làm trong ngành điện tử và giảng dạy ở một trường đại học.

 

Gia đình chị khá giả.

Chị cũng học Đại học Bách khoa chính quy, khoa công nghệ thông tin.

Thuở đó điểm thi đầu vào khoa này rất cao.

Chị tốt nghiệp loại giỏi.

Ra trường chị làm giảng viên cho một trường kĩ thuật.

Chị vừa đi làm thì nhận được học bổng đào tạo thạc sỹ Công nghệ thông tin của Hàn Quốc và chị qua Hàn Quốc học, thi lấy bằng thạc sỹ trong 2 năm.

 

Trở về nước, chị tham gia một số dự án với một số doanh nghiệp phần mềm.

 

Chị có gương mặt dễ coi, dáng người cao và gầy, diện áo quần cũng hợp thời trang.

 

Chị nói chuyện thì cũng thân thiện, dễ gần.

 

Tuy nhiên, chị trải qua 3 mối tình rồi, đều chẳng đi đến đâu, đều chia tay trong đau khổ.

Dì Tư của chị Trinh có thời gian làm ăn ở Campuchia, nghe nói bà bói ở Phnom Pênh coi rất hay.

 

Bà ấy coi chỉ tay.

 

Thuở mới tốt nghiệp đại học, nhân lúc chưa nhận việc, dì Tư và chị Trinh qua Campuchia chơi.

Dì dẫn chị đi gặp bà bói đó, khu vực gần bờ sông  của quảng trường sông Bốn mặt  ở Phnom Pênh.

 

Bà ấy coi chỉ tay  của chị Trinh xong thì phán:

” Số cô này không có dây tơ hồng, không có đường hôn nhân. Yêu ai rồi cũng bị khổ sở thôi.”

 

Dì Tư và chị Trinh cũng chỉ nghe vậy thôi chứ không lưu tâm, không tin vô phán quyết của bà bói đó lắm.

 

Cả hai người vẫn đinh ninh rằng chị Trinh giàu, đẹp, học vấn cao… thì lo gì mà không lấy được một người chồng.

 

Nhưng rồi thì chị trải qua cả ba mối tình đều kết thúc trong đau khổ, chia tay với lý do lãng xẹc.

Chị Trinh cũng phải mất một thời gian dài để thăng bằng lại.

Tới mối tình thứ tư này là chị yêu anh Bằng.

 

Anh ấy có vẻ xứng đôi với chị.

Anh Bằng cao to, trắng trẻo, nhẹ nhàng, chu đáo, là dân kinh doanh tháo vát, đã mua được nhà riêng ở thành phố lớn.

 

Hai anh chị yêu nhau cũng được hai năm thì anh Bằng nhờ ba mẹ tới gặp ba mẹ chị Trinh để bàn chuyện cưới hỏi của hai người.

6 tháng nữa là ngày tốt để tổ chức đám cưới của hai anh chị.

Thời gian này chị Trinh sống trong hạnh phúc lâng lâng.

Đi làm về là chị ấy lo đi mua sắm, sửa soạn một số thứ cho đám cưới của mình, để cho ngày vui duy nhất trong đời mình được chu đáo.

Thế nhưng chỉ còn chưa đầy 2 tháng nữa là tới đám cưới nhưng anh Bằng lại tự tử và không cứu được.

Nghe đồn là do anh nợ nần lớn quá.

 

Chị Trinh suy sụp, tưởng chừng như chị có thể chết đi được.

Chị không muốn ăn uống, không muốn đi ra ngoài, ngay cả là phải nghỉ dạy.

Chị như một kẻ vô hồn.

 

Rồi mẹ chị thấy xót xa quá nên bà đi coi ông thầy bói mù, lớn tuổi ở quận Bình Tân.

 

Thầy chấm tử vi, ông ấy phán rằng :

” Chị Trinh không có số hôn nhân nên yêu ai cũng không thành.”

 

Bà Xùy người Hoa, là thầy chấm tử vi ở quận 5 cũng phán số chị Trinh không có hôn nhân, hình như  chị không bị mắc nợ ai hết.

 

Mẹ chị Trinh đấm ngực tự hỏi rằng không biết mình đã gây ra nghiệp chướng gì mà hôn nhân của con gái đau khổ như vậy.

 

Từ đó bà siêng đi chùa hơn, để cầu nguyện và sám hối với Phật.

 

Rồi tình cờ bà gặp được bác Thư, gần 80 tuổi, tóc bác bạc như cước trắng, mặt bác  rất phúc hậu.

Bác Thư chỉ cho mẹ chị Trinh một cách sửa đổi nghiệp chướng rất hiệu quả là trì tụng Kinh Hoa Nghiêm thường xuyên trong đời sống có thể làm tiêu nghiệp chướng cũ.

 

Mẹ chị Trinh cảm ơn bác Thư và về khuyên chị Trinh nên tới chùa sám hối, lạy Phật và đọc tụng kinh Hoa Nghiêm.

 

Chị Trinh sau giờ dạy thì hay mang cuốn kinh Hoa Nghiêm về chùa.

 

Sau khi lạy Phật, sám hối thì chị mở kinh Hoa Nghiêm ra tự đọc một mình trước chánh điện.

Tối về thì chị mở clip giảng kinh Hoa Nghiêm của Hòa thượng Tuyên Hóa ra nghe để tìm hiểu thêm ý nghĩa của kinh. Hầu như ngày nào cũng vậy.

 

Mẹ chị Trinh rất thật thà.

Bà nhờ hai đứa cháu gọi bà bằng bác ruột, ngoài thời gian đi học cấp 3 thì hễ rảnh không phải đi học thêm là 2 đứa lấy kinh Hoa Nghiêm ra đọc và hồi hướng cho chị Trinh sớm tiêu nghiệp chướng.

 

Bà có thưởng tiền để động viên 2 đứa nhỏ cho tụi nó có động lực mà đọc, chứ tuổi ô mai đó thì hay ham chơi.

 

Tụi nó lười đọc kinh pháp.

 

Bà làm vậy là một công đôi việc, vừa có thể hồi hướng cho chị Trinh, vừa là dịp để tụi nhỏ làm quen với kinh điển đại thừa  quý báu của Phật thuyết.

 

Còn bà thì ngồi chép vài phẩm trong kinh Hoa Nghiêm mà bà quan tâm.

 

Chồng bà khi nghỉ hưu thì cũng được bà động viên đọc kinh Hoa Nghiêm, chép kinh Hoa Nghiêm.

Vì theo bà đó là một áng văn chương tuyệt diệu mà ai cũng nên đọc qua và suy gẫm.

Chị Trinh tình cờ gặp anh Triển, hơn chị  ấy 3 tuổi, trong 1 lần cả 2 đi chùa Vạn Thành,  cả hai người đều ngồi chờ gặp sư trụ trì để xin cúng dường.

Trong thời gian chờ đợi sư đi tụng đám ma về  lại chùa thì cả hai nói chuyện với nhau và thấy có vẻ hợp nhau.

Anh Triển trước đây kinh doanh nhà hàng, quán bar.

Anh quay cuồng trong ăn chơi trác táng, hưởng thụ, nhậu nhẹt, hưởng dục lạc... nhưng sau đó doanh nghiệp của anh bị phá sản.

Anh Triển bị mất tiền, mất bạn bè do họ trở mặt với anh.

 

Mất niềm tin vào tình người, chán nản với tình đời, anh Triển tìm tới Phật pháp làm chỗ nương tựa, học hỏi.

 

Cũng phải mất vài năm thì anh Triển và chị Trinh mới kết hôn.

Lúc này hai người đều đã lớn tuổi nên cũng không tổ chức đám cưới rộn ràng.

 

Hai người chỉ về chùa xin sư trụ trì tổ chức lễ Hằng Thuận với sự chứng kiến của vài bà con thân mật.

 

Anh Triển cũng không muốn trong ngày vui, hỷ sự của mình mà đi giết hại các sanh mạng khác như tôm, cua, gà, bò, lươn, heo, cá… nên hai anh chị chỉ đãi tiệc chay, không hề tổ chức tiệc mặn.

 

Họ mời khách với khoảng 8 bàn tiệc cưới chay ở một nhà hàng chay.

 

Vì gia đình cũng khá giả nên chị Trinh đã ấn tống khoảng 50 bộ Kinh Hoa Nghiêm, tài trợ khắc trên đá về nội dung 1 số phẩm trong kinh Hoa Nghiêm cho 1 chùa.

 

Chị thuê thợ khéo tạc tượng Phật Vairocana bằng đá Non Nước màu trắng  để thờ ở nhà.

 

Hàng ngày, chị đều sắm hương hoa, nến, quả… để dâng cúng, lễ lạy ngài.

 

Và tất nhiên cho đến bây giờ thì ngày nào đi dạy về, dù mệt và bận rộn ra sao thì chị Trinh vẫn lấy kinh Hoa Nghiêm ra đọc tụng vài trang cùng với chồng mình.

 

Hai vợ chồng rất tin tưởng vào các pháp mà Phật thuyết, đặc biệt là các bộ kinh đại thừa.

 

Như vậy, dù cho số tử vi là không có hôn nhân nhưng nhờ đọc tụng Kinh đại thừa Hoa Nghiêm thì cuối cùng cũng đã thay đổi số phận được.

Chị Trinh có ý kể lại cho nhiều người trong sở làm, bạn bè biết để họ có niềm tin vào Tam bảo, biết Sám hối và sống hướng thiện hơn nữa.
