“I, from beginningless kalpas in the past, because of greed, hatred, and delusion, have created measureless and boundless evil karma with my body, mouth, and mind.

 

If this evil karma had a substance and form, it could not be contained within the reaches of space.

 

With my three karmas purified, before the assemblies of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in kshetra-lands throughout the dharma-realm that are as numerous as the smallest atomic particles, I now sincerely repent of and reform my offenses and will never create them again.

Tôi từ vô thủy kiếp về quá khứ, do lòng tham lam, giận dữ, ngu si, khiến thân, khẩu, ý tạo vô lượng vô biên nghiệp ác.

 

*Nếu các nghiệp ác này mà có hình tướng, thì khắp cõi hư không, cũng chẳng thể đựng chứa hết được.

Nay tôi đem trọn cả ba nghiệp trong sạch đối trước các đức Phật và chúng Bồ Tát khắp cực vi trần cõi nước trong Pháp giới, thành tâm sám hối.

 

Về sau, không tái phạm nữa, thường an trụ nơi Giới pháp trong sạch, đầy đủ công đức lành. 

 

I will always dwell in all the merit and virtue of the pure moral precepts.
