Download this pattern for the bottom of the lantern and Miss La Sen shape. Print it in A3 size paper.

Download this pattern for the top of the lantern. Print it in A3 size paper.

Trace the pattern for the bottom on the foam and cut it out.

Cut a paper rectangle, 6cm long, 2.5cm wide for tracing on the 6 foam parts of the pattern. Cut these rectangles on the foam so that you can glue the tissue paper/craft glass paper onto these windows later.

Cut 6 glass paper rectangles which are larger than the windows.

Glue the glass paper rectangles onto each window section.

Glue the 2 arrow tabs of each section onto the left side of each next section.

Make sure it looks like this from the outside.

Trace the top of the lantern on the foam and cut it out.

Punch a hole in the center of the top part so that you can insert the small electric light into the lantern later.

Glue the arrow tabs of each section onto the left side of the next section.

Cut out Miss La Sen’s head.

Cut the dress on the foam.

Cut the headband and flower. Glue the flower onto the right ear. Glue the headband onto the head.

Cut the blue bow. Glue it onto the headband.

Cut the eyes, cheeks, mouth, and shoes. Glue them like the picture.

Cut the arms out. Glue them onto the dress.

Punch a hole on each part of the bottom to poke the arrow on the top into.You have 6 parts. Glue Miss La Sen onto the center of the lantern. You can disassemble the top part and the bottom part by using the arrow tabs on the top part.

Insert the electric light via the hole on the top of lantern. You can hang this lantern under the ceiling or anywhere.
