How to Make a Miss La Sen Foam Boat
If you're looking for a fun kids' craft, making a foam boat is a neat option. This one is themed with the Miss La Sen character, but you can customize the design to your liking.
Part1
EditBuilding the Boat

1Download the pattern for the boat shape and print it out in A4 size paper.

2Download the pattern for the Miss La Sen shape and print it out in A4 size paper.

3Trace the bilge (the underside) of the boat on the foam and cut it out.

4Trace the first part of the boat's cover on the foam and cut it out.

5Trace the second part of the boat's cover on the foam and cut it out.

6Cut a foam rectangle, 5cm high by 45cm long.

7Arrange the foam rectangle to cover the bilge. Use the glue-gun to glue them together.

8Cut the extra foam and glue the prow on.

9Glue the first cover onto the prow of the boat.

10Glue the second cover onto the back of the boat.

EditAdding Decoration

1Take a straw and the piece of foam to make the flag.

2Glue them together and cut it into some strings at the end of the flag.

3Glue the flag onto the boat.

4Trace Miss La Sen’s head on the foam and cut it out.

5Cut the headband, flower and glue them like the picture.

6Cut the foam dress.
-
7Glue the head onto the dress. Cut the shoes and arms. Glue them onto the dress. Cut her mouth, cheeks, eyes, bow and glue them like the picture.

8Glue Miss La Sen onto the prow of the boat.

9Put the boat in a large water basin of water so your kids can play with it. Make more and you'll have a whole fleet of floating boats!
