Today, items with Miss La Sen's image such as dolls, cloth bags, T-shirts ... are no longer limited in Vietnam but go with tourists, they have come to United States of America, India, Hong Kong. , Taiwan, China, Japan, Canada, Australia, Thailand, Singapore, Nepal, Philippines, Finland ...

 

Miss La Sen is an icon that is appreciated and loved by visitors, foreign tourists because of  its cuteness and its sense of luck, protection.

 

The founder of Miss La Sen's icon, Ms. Tu Cam Thi Tran, said that after deciding to quit her job at some technology companies, she wanted to start her own business because she liked to do handcraft and drawing, painting so she wanted to create a cartoon icon for children.

Currently, the market has a lot of cartoon icons, but Ms. Tu said she wanted to create an icon with a more humanistic and profound meaning.

In 2010, Miss La Sen was officially introduced to the community ( She drew it in 2009).

When Ms. Tu Cam Thi Tran designed Miss La Sen T-shirt with cute image, a 9-year-old niece of a friend was very fond of the image of Miss La Sen and this friend decided to buy some Miss La Sen T-shirts for adults and children.

 

EMI IWAMOTO, a Japanese girl from Kobe,  Japan who came to teach Japanese in HCM city, wrote to Ms.Tu that Miss La Sen doll is like a "treasure".

 

“This makes me very excited. Some of my friends, while on business abroad, also choose to bring souvenirs with Miss La Sen's image as gifts to foreign friends. I really thank my enthusiastic, ardent friends, ” Ms. Tu said.

 

Explaining why customers choose to buy items with the image of Miss La Sen among  a diverse market full of cartoon characters, even more invested and painted better than Miss La Sen, Ms. Tu said that possibly due to the cute and cheerful Miss La Sen's appearance besides the meaning of luck and protection of Miss La Sen.

 

It is similar to the lucky cat character Maneki Neko or Daruma dolls, or Japanese lucky souvenir Omamori.

"We follow a simple style, Miss La Sen's design is a simple style, the character has a cheerful, cute but not fussy appearance," said Ms.Tu.

 

In fact, from our inception until now, although our revenue has not been as expected, we have had charity programs such as "Miss La Sen Charity T-shirts" to help disadvantaged people, especially helping children with disabilities in Ky Quang 2 Pagoda, Go Vap District, HCM city in 2017 and many other support programs for other temples.

We will continue to do charity programs for Miss La Sen, both domestically and even abroad.

 

Ms. Tu shared, “My motto is to self-improve and innovate every day for Miss La Sen's activities: WE  COMPETE  WITH  OURSELF  EVERYDAY. Our  purpose is“ WE DEVELOP OUR  SKILLS  AND  KNOWLEDGE. “.

 

We are building a program called "MISS LA SEN WORKSHOP". Through this program, in the near future, it is possible to connect the communities on over the world, connecting people with similar interests and admirations  about Miss La Sen.

 

Our goal is to bring Miss La Sen further, to new lands with  more positive, optimistic, meaningful and humanistic messages.

TIPS  FOR  YOUNG  PEOPLE  ABOUT  TO  START  A  BUSINESS:

 

Ms. Tu has shared about starting a business. According to her, when working in an environment that requires the changeable creativity every day, you do not need to follow concepts, norms, traditions or long-standing theoretical lessons.

 

"You should make  fresh disparities, create the interesting creations and respect the diversities of others, of course you must respect the rules of the law and local culture."

 

Ms. Tu said: “My mother once advised me to invest a business,  I should do the best, work hard, persevere, work hard with the passion that I pursue and love. In the past, when I said I wanted to start my own business, my mom asked me what I would do.

 

"I said I want to invest in the career field where I used to be hired for many years".

 

My mother advised me to invest in a fresh and profound product or service, so that it is more difficult to compete and less competitors, so I can decide the price of my service, lead the market, can be creative, proactive…

 

"I am grateful to my mother for her experienced advice", Ms. Tu said.
