How to Make Miss La Sen Vesak Lotus Glass Paper Lantern

Trace the 2 lotus shapes on the thick foam, 5 millimetres thick to have a strong base and then cut them out.

Cut 2 squares for the top and the bottom of the lantern.

Cut 2 small lines at the top and the bottom of each lotus. Poke the 2 lotuses in the crossed position. It is like a main frame for the lantern.

Cut the 4 small lines at 4 corners of each square to later poke in the inside edges of the violet lotus.

Punch 4 holes at 4 corners on each square to later poke the arrow tabs on the violet frame. You should have 2 squares.

Poke each violet lotus onto the 4 corners of the pink squares.

Poke the arrow tabs onto the holes.

Cut 4 petals on the yellow foam. Cut the oval hole in each petal.

Cut the glass paper and glue it onto each yellow petal. In each petal, punch a hole at the top and a hole at the bottom to poke the arrow tabs on the pink square later.

Make the outside of the petal to be like so in the picture.

Poke the arrow tabs on the pink squares below and above onto each yellow petal.

Cut Miss La Sen from foam like so:
- Cut Miss La Sen’s head, arms, and legs.
- Cut the headband, flower, mouth, and cheeks.
- Cut the coin and bow.
- Cut the dress, shoes, and eyes.

Glue the flower onto the right ear and put the headband onto the head.

Glue the cheeks, mouth, bow, and eyes onto the face.

Glue the shoes onto the legs.
